  • Aston DBRS9s hat trick

    A hat trick of GT3 Astons run by Barwell Motorsport have all been fitted with our Racecam systems. The cars runs in both the FIA GT and British GT Championships and the drivers include MacHitski/Cocker, Drayson/Stretton, Alexandra/Needell.



  • Team Goldstar- Partnership with British GT racer Guy Harrington

    We are delighted to announce a commercial partnership with this year's young rookie in British GT's - Guy Harrington. As well as recording onboard footage we are also working along side Guy on a number of PR and corporate sponsorship projects. Commenting on the partnership Guy said “Goldstar are always very professional, I'm sure they will do a great job.”





  • Martin Stretton's new Goldstar livered March

    Raining European F2 champion Martin Stretton enters this year championship in a stunning new blue and yellow Goldstar liveried March 712. On its first outings at Hockenheim Martin said “The car looks great and I'm looking forward to making some more Hotlap DVD's.”


  • Phil Collins beats World Rally Champion

    Rally legend Phil Collins has emerged victories from a battle with 1995 world rally champion Colin McRae on this year Manx National rally. Phil who uses a Goldstar Rallycam system said “ It's was a fantastic result which I'm pleased to say was captured, for posterity, by the boy's at Goldstar. After all its not every day you beat a world champion” Phil's Ford Escort proudly displays Goldstar decals on the front spoiler.



  • Guy Harrington leads British GT's

  • AJ tests our Bikecam

    The past few months have seen up and coming rider "AJ Hutchinson" help us test and develop our Goldstar Bikecam.


    AJ from Co Kildare, R.O.I. races a Triumph Daytona 675 in the Michelin Young Challenge a one make series which visits 9 circuits across the UK. The good news is extensive onboard footage from AJ's bike is broadcast on by Sky Motors TV after every round using both our club and pro spec systems, lots of footage can also be found at


  • Harrington GT1 debut

    Following on from his high flying success in this years British GT Championship driving his GT3 Aston Martin, Guy Harrington was privileged to be invited to test the full blown Barwell Motorsport GT1 car at Silverstone last week.


    Completing a full 50 laps Guy managed to set a series of competitive lap times and certainly impressed everone who was there including team boss Mark Lemmer.  Now you too can experience the ride by clicking here: the Goldstar Onboard system used includes the Pro spec Chase DVR with G Force overlay.   • 2010 Rallye Sunseeker sponsorship

    Good luck to our friend and customer Les Harrogate, who through his company SCF Hardware, is sponsoring both the Ringwood spectator stages on this years very popular Sunseeker Rallye. Les and his driver Matt Thorne will be entering their class winning Mk 2 Ford Escort capturing all the footage on their Goldstar H720 Rallycam kit.


  • Historic Rallying Success for Nick Elliott and Dave Price in 2012

    October saw the final round of the British Historic Rally Championship 2012, the Colin McRae Forest Stages Historic Rally. Their win Overall on this event sees Nick Elliott and Dave Price in their Historic specification Ford Escort Mk2, seal second place in the 2012 Championship, and also secure the BHRC Waterend Properties Gravel Cup.


    The Championship, for Historic Rally Cars across three age categories, from 1967 to 1981, is fought over eight events throughout the year, and produces close competition and a large and loyal following amongst spectators and its supporters, as the great days of rallying are recreated in these classic rallying machines.

    With the best six scores to count, Nick and Dave’s unbeatable five from five overall wins on the gravel rounds, combined with a very creditable second overall on their first outing over the notorious tarmac stages of the Eypnt military ranges, made it an excellent year.

    The car is a faithful replica of a Mk2 Ford Escort, running as it would have been used in period by the Ford Works team, with a 250bhp two-litre BDG engine providing the power. Strict regulations ensure that all cars can only use parts that were used in period, so no one gains an advantage and the championship is all about the spectacle and the driving.

    The action on the stages has been captured this year using In car equipment supplied by Goldstar Onboard, with footage broadcast on the MotorsTV Rally reports from each round as well as YouTube uploads. Nick and Dave have been extremely pleased with camera equipment and cite this as a major factor in increasing their exposure this year amongst their loyal followers, sponsors, and a new wider audience.
